(Vote Nov 8) SPLOST VII (Vote Nov 8)
will create
a divided four lane CASTLEBERRY PARKWAY
similar to
RONALD REAGAN and
McFARLAND PARKWAYS
The current County Master Plan calls for a divided four lane Castleberry Road from Cumming City limits to Bethelview Road. Despite grossly flawed projections used to develop this 4 lane recommendation, BoC members Tam, Amos, & Bell insist on a divided four lane Castleberry Parkway. Today, Castleberry Road runs through 3 miles of 1,000 residential homes and past a new grammar school. It is a beautiful winding country road with about 40% of the land not yet developed for single family homes.
IF THEY BUILD IT - - -
WHAT WILL COME???
- Re-zonings: high intensity commercial apartments, on all the remaining undeveloped land.
- 18 wheelers and more traffic from the new intense developments will fulfill the flawed projections.
- Noise from the commercial intensity and additional traffic from Route 9 as a fast “by-pass”.
- Safety of family, neighbors, and new grammar school children.
WHEN YOU CAST YOUR BALLOT ON NOVEMBER 8TH,
